Pulse Height Analyzer (Multi-Channel Analyzer); P301
A pulse height analyzer is a device that converts the information of the radiation energy included in the pulse height into a digital value using A/D converter. The signal from radiation detector is amplified via preamplifier and shaping amplifier, subsequently input to pulse height analyzer. Pulse height analyzer is also called multi-channel analyzer.
P301 is a pulse height analyzer equipped with one 18-bit A/D converter. P301 has two input connectors and can simultaneously obtains the pulse heights with the different shaping times. Users can create energy spectrum data (histogram of pulse height data) and the list data (timestamps and pulse heights for all events) from P301.
Charge sensitive preamplifier for semiconductor radiation detector; C100 series
When using semiconductor radiation detector, charge-sensitive amplifier is placed close to the detector (or integrated with the detector). This is to amplify the weak charge signal from the detector while minimizing the effects of noise, and charge-sensitive amplifier is used as the preamplifier.
The charge-sensitive amplifiers (preamplifiers) for semiconductor radiation detectors, C100 series, achieve low noise signal processing in spite of incorporating with the protection of the first-stage FET.
Furthermore, C100 series preamplifiers have compensation function to suppress the offset voltage change caused by the temperature change. This function makes it possible to reduce the offset voltage shift caused by temperature change during unipolar measurement.
